Nothing is neutral. Every decision we make and every action we take moves us closer to success or failure.

How can I get more customers for my business?

I’ve been a Indepedant beauty consultant for Mary Kay for a couple months and I’m not generating that many customers. I have a website. I’ve beeen net-working through friends and family, as well as passing out flyers. I’m generally shy but I’ve approached strangers on the street and put catalogs on nail salons. What am I doing wrong, where are all the customers?

•Hello-

Let your current and past client and customers know how much you appreciate their business by sending them personal cards in the mail, thanking them for their business and their loyalty.

You may also indicate that you would be honored to provide excellent service to any friends and or family that they recommend to you.

It is important that your clients feel you really care about them as individuals and friends -and that you genuinely appreciate their business.

It is a good idea to have their birthday and their spouse’ and kids’ birth dates on file so that they will recieve cards from you throughout the year on their special days. This keeps you fresh in their minds (exactly what you want!).

It has be shown in repeated studies, that these little gestures really do create strong customer loyalty and steady referrals over time. To be most effective, however, you must be consistent (eg- a card a month for each customer) and resist the temptation to include a coupon or offer in these cards (although this can be done seperately). Refraining from selling or promoting your business services in the thank you, birthday, and holiday cards you send- has proven to be much more effective at solidifying close bonds with customers and generating business and referrals.

Chevrolet employee Joe Girard followed this system, and it landed him in the Guinness Book of World Records as the most successful salesman of all time, selling 6 cars per day for 15 years straight!

It will work for you just as well. You can send some free cards on my website to see if you like it! Just go to:
www.SendOutCards.com/36167 and follow the instructions. For best results please call me at 925-435-5674 so I can answer your questions as you go. I can also recommend successful cards and language to fit your style and business needs.
(Like most who try it, I am sure you will find the system to be inexpensive, fast, and easy.)

Your business will increase by at lest 25% in 6 months using my system, or I will refund your card costs.

•I wish you luck, and look forward to hearing from you!

You need someone to be honest with you. In my opinion, the economy can’t afford to spend wasteful money on trinkets and frivolous things that aren’t vital for survival. Think with the economy in-mind. What do people need more than anything right now? I would say self-sufficiency. Why do you rely on currency so much? Is it to buy food? Why not grow your own food? If you need to, why don’t you change any circumstances preventing you from achieving your goals?

The answer could be as simple as your marketing approach. What are you doing different than everyone else who is selling? Good luck with your survival. This could be part of your awakening.
